RAKU ceramic course 2 days

The course is particularly focused on Raku firing and modelling. As soon as you register, you will be able to discuss and prepare your work, your project with the advice of Danielle.

The first day you will be able to design parts with the assistance and the eye of Danielle

The second day – shaping and raku firing

A day with the earth and your creation from 9:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.
After drying and first firing of your creation, a day of enameling and raku firing from 9:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.

PRICE: All inclusive: 200 euros.

Minimum two people, maximum four people, all year round depending on availability.

But you can also with   your terracotta pieces, Raku for enamelling and firing.

For beginners, Danielle will introduce you to several techniques (colombin modeling, plate technique, etc.).

​

You can come in 2 times a day: a first  to design your modeling during the first course, and the second for the Raku firing  (I would then have biscuited your pieces after drying during the week).

The course will take place in the countryside of Chabeuil, in an old renovated farm surrounded by greenery on more than 1ha. This is Danielle SIMON's exhibition workshop. A source born on the property, crosses and surrounds the house... A swimming pool available in summer and early autumn. The place vibrates with a very beautiful energy and makes it a dream place for healing and welcoming.
